Initiates a remote discovery process to find available devices on the network and/or locally connected.

Behavior

If devices are not connected: The system initiates a scan. Returns 202 Accepted immediately, or 200 OK with the list if discovery is instantaneous/blocking.

If devices are already connected: The system rejects the scan request with 501.
